On October 17, 2008, Linde (China) continued the Leading Industry EHS – Green Purchasing Seminar Series in Hefei station. This event attracted more than 70 persons from 30 companies to attend, including Haier Group, Gree Air-condition, Unilever, P.G.Logistics, HITACHI and JAC companies. Several medias including Anhui daily News, Hefei TV, Hefei Evening News have reported.

Mr. Chen Tao, GM of Linde Jiangsu Region, addressed welcome speech on the opening ceremony as well as made a brief introduction of the significance of this event. Mr. Xiang Chenshen, Director of the Anhui Environmental Science Society and Environmental Protection Technology Center praised Linde (China)’s effort in environmental protection. He said Linde as a model in industry could consider contributing to society and peoples besides profit pursuit via EHS, Which showed Linde’s humanistic concern culture.

In the seminar, BSI’s trainer and logistics expert from Linde (China) made brilliant speech. The BSI’s trainer shared some tips on Green Purchasing, then the logistics expert from Linde (China) also shared the various EHS considerations in our products and solutions. Mr. Chen Tao, GM of Linde Jiangsu Region introduced the fleet management of Linde forklift truck. Additionally, BSH and P.G. Logistics shared their companies’ experience of green purchasing and operation.

Additionally, all attendees enjoyed the Linde trucks’ demo including a competition of opening beer bottles by 4 drivers from P.G.Logistics and BSH. At last, one driver from P.G.Logistics won within 2 minutes and 7 seconds.
