On September 26, 2008, Linde (China) continued the Leading Industry EHS – Green Purchasing Seminar Series in Shanghai, nearly 100 representatives from various companies including Schneider Electric, Shanghai Kohler, Panasonic, Lafarge, ABB and TNT (China) attended the event. After the seminar, they also attended the moving ceremony of Linde (China) East Region.

Ms. Wang Yihe, vice secretary-general of Shanghai Environmental Protection Association, attended the event and addressed the meeting. She praised Linde (China)’s effort in holding this event and hoped to widely communicate with representatives applying the notion of EHS (Environmental Protection, Health and Safety) into companies in order to accelerate the development of local enterprises in Shanghai.

In the seminar, BSI’s trainer shared some tips on Green Purchasing and some case studies on the EHS benefits. Logistics expert from Linde (China) also took the chance to share the various EHS considerations in our products and solutions.

In the new office moving ceremony, Mr. CP Quek, CEO of Linde (China), as well as representatives from Shanghai Volkswagen and Shanghai Hualian expressed their congratulations. A banner reading “Remarkable quality, Good service” was bestowed by Shanghai Hualian.

Afterwards, the ceremony came to a climax by clicking the eyeballs of lion. More than 200 distinguished guests witnessed this special moment, which indicate a new era of Linde (China) East Region.
