“Linde Cup” China Tour Successfully Launched in Beijing  
April 23, 2007, "Linde Cup" China Tour, which jointly held by China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (hereinafter referred to as CFLP) and Linde (China) Forklift Truck Corp., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Linde (China), was successfully launched in Beijing National Olympic Sports Center. It is an Olympic gala of logistics industry. Also it's another unprecedented innovative event held by Linde (China), following Linde Forklift Truck Trans-China innovation, which created a Shanghai Great World Dsjjns Record.  
 
 
"Linde Cup" China Tour will be held in Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Xiamen, Guangzhou and other major cities all around China in succession. It will last about 4 months, covering dexterity, speed and endurance contests. A large number of participants from well-known companies in logistics, auto manufacturing and other industries will gather together to show their outstanding forklift truck operation skills. Every company will send three representatives to team up for competition. After two qualifying rounds, the winning teams will gather in Beijing for the finale on August 8, 2007 to compete for top three winning teams. The top three winning teams will be conferred with attractive awards including a big amount of prize and 2008 Olympic tickets.  
 
 
Many splendid highlights make the opening ceremony a fabulous feast. To audience's surprise, Olympic champion Ms. Gao Min drove Linde forklift truck showed up in the opening ceremony. Together with chairman of CFLP Mr. Lu Jiang and Linde (China) CEO Mr. CP Quek, Ms. Gao Min pressed torch button to ignite the torch, also with the passionate and high-spirited Linde song "We Move the World", Mr. Lu Jiang, Mr. CP Quek, Ms. Gao Min and also Mr. Feng Fanji, General Manger of Linde (China) North Region together raised the flag of “Linde Cup”. Thus, the "Linde Cup" China Tour was officially launched! Linde (China) CEO Mr. CP Quek said: Beijing will host the Olympic Games next year, we are very honored to have Ms. Gao Min here to participate in our opening ceremony. We hope that through this event, we can call on the attention of logistics enterprises to 2008 Olympic Games, and advocate Olympic spirit "Higher, Faster, Stronger" in logistics industry: Higher logistics efficiency, Faster development of logistics industry, Stronger logistics enterprises. Of course, also we hope that it can help to improve forklift operators' skills and working efficiency, reduce logistics cost for our users, and meanwhile provide our partners a superb platform for communications and displaying their wonderful skills. Finally, we hope that with this great opportunity, we can closely listen to our users, to know their comments and feedbacks towards our products and services, so that we can further improve and to better serve our customers.  
 
 
At the Opening Ceremony, Linde (China) also made financial contributions to Beijing Guo' an Off- road Football Club "Football Hope Project" to subsidize poverty youth team members in the football team. Vice chairman of the football club, Ms. Gao Min said: Highly appreciated Linde (China)'s generous donation! In addition to pursuiting for their own development and promoting the growth of logistics industry, Linde (China) also actively fulfill corporate social responsibility for building harmonious society. It has been a very good example for other companies.  
 
 
As an important highlight of the opening ceremony, member of CPPCC, also chairman of CFLP, Mr. Lu Jiang, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. After illustration of status and prospects of China logistics industry, Mr. Lu Jiang said: We hope that the event can help to improve sophisticated equipment operation skills of logistics enterprises staffs, promote the development of equipment technology of logistics industries. Also leveraging Olympic spirit "Higher, Faster, Stronger ", together let's drive to promote healthy and rapid growth of China logistics industry, and also let's welcome 2008 Beijing Olympic Games with this feast!  
 
 
The fantastic event attracted a multitude of participants, including representatives from China Association of Warehouses (CAW), China Industrial Truck Association (CITA), China Material & Storage Transportation Association (CMSTA), Linde forklift truck users, and also quite a lot of reporters from national noted medias: CCTV, 21 Century Herald, Chinese Business Newspaper, Economic Observer Newspaper, China Daily, Sina.com, Sohu.com, etc.
