Jointly sponsored by Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee, Suzhou Federation of Trade Unions, Suzhou Logistics Center and Linde (China) Suzhou Branch, this competition involved the most contestants among the four Jiangsu region-qualifying rounds and received comprehensive supports from Linde customers and various social organizations.
In Suzhou Logistics Center, after a fair-and-square written test held in the canteen, the real competition was transferred to the warehouse.
Mr. Zhu Kunyuan announced the begin of competition, while Mr. Jiang Xueming - Vice Director General of Suzhou Industrial Park Personnel Department, Mr Lu Zhigang ¨C President of Suzhou Logistics Center, Mr. Chen Tao ¨C General Manager of Linde (China) Jiangsu Region, Mr. Zhao Jian ¨C Vice Director General of Suzhou Labor and Social Security Bureau and Mr. Shen Hua ¨C Vice President of Suzhou Federation of Labor Union, gave their respective speeches.
¡°For the staff, this is an experience to improve skills and interaction with other teams; for the enterprises, this is an opportunity to select outstanding talents and to enhance overall logistics efficiency levels¡±, says Jiang, Vice Director General of Suzhou Industrial Park Personnel Department.
In the opening ceremony, contestants from Gold Huasheng Ltd had some fun giving a performance of ¡°opening beer bottles¡±. With their skillful operations, beer bottles were opened one by one, arousing a shower of cheers from the audiences.
After several hours of fierce competition, referees calculated scores for every team and meanwhile, a special show of ¡°lighting the lighter¡± and ¡°forklift truck moving around pile clusters¡± was performed by our Linde ladies, pushing the event to a climax.
